Senior Tai Chi
This is a more relaxed and slower paced class designed for the active older adult. It is a Chinese healing martial art system of exercise for physical, emotional, and mental well being. A class of slow motion movement patterns which increase longevity while improving balance, stamina, circulation, concentration and relaxation. Body Sculpting (For ages 18 & older)
Add this 1/2 hr class to your cardio and you have the perfect match to help you reach your goals. Designed to strengthen and tone you from head to toe.  Maximum enrollment 20.
Dates:  Mon & Wed., 6:00 - 6:30 pm Mar. 1-Apr. 14, 2010

20/20/20:
A one hour class of 220 minutes of cardio kickboxing, 20 minutes of step, 20 minutes of core work. Add her Body Sculpting class to this and you will really be ready for the summer. (For ages 18 & older) Maximum enrollment 20.

Zumba:
Zumba is a Latin inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements. This creates a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system. Zumba means to "move fast and have fun". The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. Zumba is designed for everyone. Participants of any fitness level or background can start right away. Zumba's basic step formula makes it easy for everyone of all ages. You could burn between 600 to 1000 calories per class!

Yoga:
The focus is on basic poses (asana) with an emphasis on proper breath control (pranayama), and correct physical alignment modifications. The personal attention and guided instruction provided, will allow the space for a student to establish positive practice "habits" with proper alignment from the beginning. Classes will build on one another providing a challenge for all levels. Your flexibility, muscle strength and balance are increased with this transforming practice. Perfect for the student who is just beginning a yoga practice.

It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing - nothing to close to the neck and something that allows you to move freely. Please bring a small mat.

Bingo
Enjoy an evening of Bingo with friends. Bingo is held on the 2nd & 4th Friday of the month beginning in September.

Times: 7:30-10:30 pm

Bus trips schedule can be found on Activities & Classes. The Cifaldo Community Center is a bus stop for interested individual's wishing to leave from Perryville.
