| |
|
Your membership is honored at most (not all) YMCA's across the country, however some restrictions may include: • Members of YMCAs within 50 miles are limited
to a certain number of visits per month.
• Visiting members may use the facility only at
certain times (to avoid conflicting with peak
demand by local members).
• Visiting members may be charged a nominal fee.
• Visiting members are limited in the number of
visits they are allowed per year.
Because of safety considerations, certain equipment is not available for use by visiting members.
Please call the YMCA you will visit before your trip or vacation to be sure they honor AWAY members. For a listing of YMCA's
in the United States, call 1-800-872-YMCA.The YMCA of Cecil County will honor visiting members from outside a 50 mile radius of our own
YMCA, without any charge. Membership card and photo ID are required. |

YMCA CHECK WRITING PROGRAM |
| |
|
We do not accept post-dated checks. We require that the check is dated for current date. We do not accept "starter checks" for payment.
If a P.O. Box is listed on the check, we require a complete street address to be written on the check as well as a phone number. We
reserve the right to refuse any check. All returned checks are subject to a $35.00 Non Sufficient Fund fee (the current maximum
amount allowed by law) along with any applicable postage fees. We reserve the right to refuse service (including removing one's space
in a program/class) until debt from a NSF check is paid in full. In order to operate in conjunction with the "State's Attorney Bad
Check Restitution Program", this policy is a requirement. |
