Cecil Driving School, Inc.

Drivers Education is available to any individual who is at least 15 years of age by the first night of class. Classes are normally held Tues., Wed., & Thurs. nights from 6:00-9:15 pm*. Maryland law requires each student to complete a prescribed program which consists of 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training. A complete classroom schedule will be given to each student the first night of class. "Behind the Wheel" training is scheduled with an instructor following the classroom portion. Cecil Driving School, Inc. is licensed by the Maryland MVA and can be reached by calling 410-398-6053*. Class days may vary.

Classroom & Behind-the-Wheel
Comprehensive Fee

Comprehensive Fee: $340* -- This includes a $50 non-refundable deposit which is payable to the YMCA. The balance of $290 is paid to Cecil Driving School during the first class. An additional $50 re-scheduling fee will be charged if a student transfers to a future class other than the class they registered for within two weeks of the start date.

Young Driver Improvement Program

Drivers who have been assigned to the program must call Bob Cornell at 443-907-2035 to schedule class.

The assignment letter reads "Young Driver Improvement Program" and is printed on yellow stationary.

Fee: $175, includes a $25 non-refundable deposit which is paid to the YMCA. The balance of $150 is paid to the instructor on the first day of class. Bring Assignment Letter.


Driver Improvement Program

Held on numerous Saturdays each month. Arrive early for registration. Call for class dates. Bring Assignment Letter.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a Registration Fee of $7 which is included in the cost of the class payable to the YMCA. All classes are approved by Maryland MVA.
