Driver's Education is available to any MD residences who is at
least 15 years of age by the first night of class. Classes are normally
held Tues., Wed., & Thurs. nights from 6:00-9:15 pm.
Maryland law requires each student to complete a prescribed program
which consists of 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of behind-
the-wheel training. A complete classroom schedule will be
given to each student the first night of class. "Behind the Wheel"
training is scheduled with an instructor following the classroom
portion.

Comprehensive Fee: $340
(this includes a $50 non-refundable deposit which is payable to the
YMCA). The balance of $290 is paid to Cecil Driving School during the
first class. An additional $50 re-scheduling fee will be charged if a
student transfers to a future class other than the class they registered for
within two weeks of the start date. |

Young Driver Improvement Program
Drivers who been assigned to the is program should call the instructor Bob Cornell to schedule a date and time to schedule their class. Call Bob at 443-907-2035.
Please note: The assignment letter reads “Young Driver Improvement Program”, and is printed on yellow stationary.
Fee: $175 (this includes a $25 non-refundable deposit which is payable to the YMCA). The balance of $150 is paid to the instructor on the first class. |
